Push 5 Privacy Policy

Push 5 is wholly owned by Boma Systems, Incorporated (Boma). This privacy policy describes how Boma uses and protects all personal information provided at its Push 5 website (push5.com) in conjunction with the delivery and promotion of Push 5 Services. Terms of this Privacy Policy apply to all information regarding both Subscribers (“Subscriber” or “you”) and your designated Contacts. A Subscriber is a person who subscribes to and/or uses one or more Push 5 services. A Contact is an individual whose information the Subscriber has added to Subscriber’s account so that the individual may receive Push 5 alerts initiated by the Subscriber.

Information Use

In order to provide you with Push 5 services, Boma stores and maintains up-to-date contact information about you and your designated Contacts. This information includes names, locations, e-mail addresses, text/SMS/Mobile device addresses and phone numbers. We also collect information that does not personally identify you as an individual, such as data regarding customer use of the Push 5 website and services. Boma reserves the sole discretion to collect and utilize this information as deemed appropriate.


Boma’s websites are not directed to persons under the age of thirteen (13) and Boma does not knowingly collect, use or retain any personal information from any person under the age of thirteen (13), for any purpose whatsoever (including internal or external marketing or promotional purposes). Boma will delete any records or information submitted by users under the age of thirteen, upon notification of or identification that such information has been submitted by a child.

Information Sharing

We will never sell or rent your personally identifiable information to any third parties for marketing purposes. We will only share your personally identifiable information with third parties as necessary in order to carry out your instructions and to provide specific services you request.

It is possible that we may at times be required by law enforcement agencies to disclose personal information when required by law. We will disclose such information if we have a good-faith belief that the disclosure is necessary to comply with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on our company, or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims, if we believe that such action is appropriate and necessary to protect and defend the rights of Boma, or to protect the life, safety, property or rights of Push 5 users, contacts, and the general public. As a Term of Service, Subscribers of our Push 5 services grant permission for Boma to provide any and all personal information related to use of the Push 5 services to law enforcement.

Accessing and Changing Your Account Information

You can review personal account information that you provided to Boma by logging in to your account on our Push 5 website (push5.com). You may update or otherwise change your information at any time.

If you close your account, Boma may retain certain data contributed by you as necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, for legitimate business purposes such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally-identifiable data, account recovery, or if required by law. All retained data will continue to be subject to the terms of the Push 5 Privacy Policy.


Private information can be accessed only by providing your password. Your password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters, and special characters and do not disclose your password to anyone. If you share your password or your personal information with others, you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. If your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify us at support@push5.com and change your password.

Push 5 makes no warranties or representations as to the security and confidentiality of any data you transmit. We are not responsible for the acts of third parties that unlawfully intercept your communications or obtain your personal information by any other unlawful means.

Cookies and Log Files

Boma uses cookies and web log files to track site usage. A cookie is a tiny data file that resides on your computer which allows Boma to recognize you as a user when you return to our site using the same computer and web browser. The cookie contains information that allows Boma to track the pages you've visited, and improve our site by making it more responsive to the needs of our users. The help function on most browsers contains information on how to set your browser to notify you before accepting a cookie or to disable cookies entirely. However, if you don't accept cookies, you won't be able to take advantage of various features on our site that are available, and may not be able to access services that you have contracted with Boma for.

Log files record aggregate (non-personally identifiable) information about the usage of the Site such as internet protocol (“IP”) addresses, browser types, internet service providers, referring/exit pages, pages accessed, platform types, session times, and the like. These log files may be used in conjunction with cookies. This resulting information is used for traffic analysis, to gather broad demographic information concerning aggregate use and to perform consumer research. All marketing information shall be subject, in all cases, to compliance with the applicable rules and regulations of the Federal Communications Commission, and other relevant laws and regulations, as they may be amended from time to time.

Linked Websites

Boma’s Push 5 website may contain links to other websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these linked sites and Push 5 is not responsible for, nor do we endorse, the privacy practices or the content of these sites.

Push 5 Communications

In order to inform you of changes or other information related to proper use of Push 5 services, we will communicate with you through e-mail and notices posted on this website. As long as you maintain a relationship with Boma, you may receive administrative e-mails of this sort.

Boma may also send you promotional information related to Boma Services and upgrades. You will have the right to opt-out from receiving such promotional information on all services except Push 5 Lite (agreeing to receive promotional information is a condition of receiving the Push 5 Lite service). If you wish to opt-out of receiving promotional e-mails, please send a request to support@push5.com. Should you wish to opt-out of promotional e-mails and you are subscribed to the Push 5 Lite service, you must cancel your participation in this service.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Boma reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the push5.com website. You are responsible for reviewing the current Privacy Policy. Continued use of Push 5 Services after any such changes to the Privacy Policy are posted shall constitute your consent to such changes.

Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and the information in your account.
